Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CareerPilot AI, including our website at www.aicareerpilot.app and all related tools, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by Felsoft Systems Limited (“CareerPilot AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

CareerPilot AI is an AI-powered career advancement platform that helps users search for jobs, tailor resumes and cover letters, practice mock interviews, track job applications, plan career paths, optimize LinkedIn profiles, prepare salary negotiations, and related career-development features (each a “Feature”). Current pricing, plans, and included Features are described on our Pricing page.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions, Credits & Billing

The Service is offered on a free tier and on paid subscription tiers (currently Pro and Premium), billed monthly or annually, as well as one-time purchases of additional usage credits (“Credit Packs”). Prices, credit allowances, and billing cycles are shown at checkout and on our Pricing page before you pay.

Payments are processed by our payment providers, which may include Paddle.com Market Ltd. (“Paddle”) and/or Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). Where Paddle processes your order, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for that transaction, and Paddle's own terms and invoicing apply to the payment itself, in addition to these Terms governing your use of the Service.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time from your account billing settings; your access continues until the end of the then-current billing period. Purchased credits, once granted, expire as disclosed at the time of purchase (currently 60 days for Credit Packs) and do not carry over indefinitely.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written consent;
• Upload content you do not have the right to submit, or content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others;
• Use automated means to abuse rate limits or usage-credit allowances.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party large language models to generate resumes, cover letters, interview feedback, and other content. AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before relying on it (for example, before submitting a job application). We do not guarantee any particular hiring or interview outcome.

6. Intellectual Property

We own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, excluding content you submit. You retain ownership of the resumes, documents, and other content you upload or generate through the Service, and you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerPilot AI and Felsoft Systems Limited are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
